We are in the hunt for a Lead Mobile Developer/Architect to, develop, test, and advance sophisticated next generation innovative mobile apps and services for schools!
Here is what you will get to do:
• Work closely with product management team to ensure we're building the best products
• Ability to lead a small team (globally distributed) of 4-6 individuals - help drive sound engineering design, process and quality practices, and perform acceptance engineering!
• Solid business requirements understanding with ability to map to technical data requirements
• Strong emphasis on code automation so it is maintainable and extensible
• Perform research, analysis, design and implementation providing effective solutions for short/long term needs
• Support and migrate existing systems to new platforms
• Mentor other team members and developers
• Collaboration - work in team environment and share knowledge
• Evaluate new technologies and software products determining feasibility/desirability of incorporating their capabilities into the platform
• Contribute as a hands-on software developer
Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with strong fundamentals and problem solving skills; Master’s preferred
• 5+ yrs’ experience in mobile app development (iOS/Windows/Chrome), using native tools and/or Xamarin
• Cross platform tools experience with Xamarin and/or Cordova/PhoneGap
• Able to contribute in all layers of technical design, development, testing, implementation, and support
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery Mobile, Node, Angular
• Experience with ASP.Net, HTML, JSON, and XML
Additional Plus:
• Strong leader capable of motivating and energizing software engineers, respectful
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum and TDD
• Dynamic and strong in communication & analytical skills
• Successful with onshore/offshore team collaboration
