Required Skills:
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist in the coordination and administrative support in the execution and delivery of HR programs and activities.
What you’ll be doing:
• Assist in drafting and updating HR documents and correspondence (immigration, employment verification letters, etc)
• Assist with the administration of HR Programs and Services (achievers program, wellness)
• File paperwork in employee files
• Organize the HR filing system
• Administrative tasks to include placing office supply orders, sending courier packages, booking interviews
• Conduct reference checks of new hires and assist in the recruitment process screening for junior level positions
• Assist with recruitment projects and internship program
• Attend Employee Family and Friend screenings on the weekends when required
• Help with the administrative tasks for IMAX internal employee events
• Complete HR invoices and assist in completing expenses
• Assist with other projects as assigned
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s Degree – a specialty in HR is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter, well-organized, able to work independently to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Technical Proficiency using MS work, Excel, etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• Flexible, positive team player
• Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
