Role Summary
The Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst has two primary areas of responsibility: capacity planning and operations/data analysis.
For capacity planning, the Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst is responsible for strategic event scheduling and management tasks as well as day-to-day oversight of event and on-demand scheduling activities. The Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst is also responsible for creating and providing recommended scheduling strategies and entering, then posting operational schedule(s) in the testing system(s) accurately and providing training, documentation and auditing support for assigned test centers. The Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst is also responsible to ensure that contractual obligations are achieved by monitoring testing schedules, hours of site availability and candidate volumes and to post notices to the business pertaining to scheduling changes that impact the delivery capabilities of the channel.
For operations and data analysis, the Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst works closely with the Director, Test Administration Solutions, the Manager, Capacity Planning and the Vice President, Australia and South East Asia to provide complex analysis of forecasts, reports and Operations work-flow. The Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst will create detailed reviews, summaries and insights using model building, what-if analysis and other data analysis methodologies to support the development of innovative process improvements and efficiencies.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
• Capacity planning and/or strategic planning analysis
• Years customer service experience
• Experience in data analysis and documentation/data reporting
• Experience in manipulating large amounts of information in Excel to extract data results
• Above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency with SQL; must be able to execute existing queries as well as edit and write new queries
• Experience with other statistical, custom scheduling software and/or data analytic tools preferred
• Experience in the airline, hotel, or like industry industries with a capacity focus a plus
• Test center background would be advantageous

Primary Responsibilities
30% Data Analysis and Reporting Management
• Manage ongoing client event planning with a focus on Australia and SE Asia
• Develop or improve reporting to support existing business and/or new clients
• Maintain existing internal and external reporting on time and accurately to support the operational business
• Provide analysis on forecasts, reports, financial and location data on an ongoing ad-hoc basis
• Quality audit data on an ongoing basis
30% Operational Solutions Development
• Makes recommendation for changes to the processes and work-flow designs
• Assist with preparing test center solutions and analysis for bid proposals as needed
• Makes recommendation for changes to the processes and work-flow designs
• Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations
30% Capacity Management
• Oversees day to day capacity management work for Australia and SE Asia based clients
• Manage test center schedules and blocks
• Assist scheduling coordinators with the accommodations process
• Create and maintain documentation of tools and processes
• Participate in long and short term scheduling and blocking projects
10% Other duties as assigned
The salary for this role is $60,000 per year + Excellent Benefits.
