Who We Are:
Reporting to the NYC Facility Manager, this Facilities Coordinator position is responsible for support to Facilities Operations in the NYC office. The Twitter culture requires an emphasis on adaptability in a rapidly growing corporate setting. This role will be the heart of customer service for our NYC office.
What You'll Do:
• Office Services:Support Facility Manager setting guidelines & procedures for Reception, Mail, Shipping & Receiving, and office services to insure prompt, friendly, and superior customer experience.
• Facilities Help Desk: Serve as lead for Facilities help desk requests from internal staff with focus on prompt, friendly service. Ensure requests are responded to and resolved timely. Manage associated metrics to ensure meeting of established departmental SLAs.
• Facilities Maintenance & Repair Coordination:Provide support to Facility Manager to ensure that building maintenance and repair work receives prompt attention. Responsible for calling in vendors and service technicians and following up to ensure that service interruptions are minimized and work is performed to Twitter standards for quality and response time.
• Special Event Coordination:Provide backup support for internal events, special events and functions.
• Finance:Provide support to ensure all initiatives and support functions are within budget. Manage PO’s and process invoices. Assist Facility Manager in managing cost savings and efficiencies. Ensure invoices are complete and processed timely.
• Space Management:Manage headcount tracker and seating chart. Coordinate moves as approved by Facility Manager. Coordinate with Human Resources and Recruiting for all incoming and departing staff.
• Cover Reception and/or Mailroom breaks and lunch as needed.
• Other similar responsibilities, consistent with the above, to be assigned.
Who You Are:
• Proven ability work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing business environment.
• Qualified candidate will have a track record of maintaining and tracking process and procedure for facilities support.
• Proven ability to manage internal customer relationship with an emphasis on prompt, respectful service.
• Strong written and verbal communication with an emphasis on prompt, friendly communications.
• Demonstrated analytical skills necessary for the collation of data and production of information in a corporate setting
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in business, management, operations or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities operations preferred. Prior experience supporting special events a plus
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
