The Product Strategy and Operations team is part of the Sales Operations group and partners with our global Revenue and Product teams to drive new product development and customer adoption. As a Product Strategy & Ops Lead, you will be a part of a cross-functional team responsible for driving sustainable growth and product adoption for Twitter’s advertising solutions with a particular emphasis on video/brand. You play a key role in providing business insights using analytics and industry insights, building cross functional alignment of goals, and driving programs forward. This is a role that combines aspects of project management, product development, technology program management and training.
Responsibilities:
• Develop or expand in-depth understanding of Twitter’s suite of Promoted Products and relevant advertising revenue metrics (CPM, RPU, etc.)
• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Sales Operations, Yield Management, and Product Marketing to identify opportunities, define strategies, and plan and execute program operations including managing communications with cross-functional stakeholders
• Serve as a single voice from Sales to Product helping to shape product direction by leveraging analytics, identifying key customer needs and industry insights, and communicating client feedback
• Build business cases and prioritize requirements for new products or product enhancements for Product Marketing and Engineering
• Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to lead alpha and beta product launches, communicate client feedback, align on product positioning, and sales education
• Stay on top of market trends and changes in the competitive landscape, and share insights and recommendations with the team
Candidate Qualifications:
• 5+ years of related experience in the digital or media industry with at least 2+ years dedicated to brand advertising
• Familiarity with popular digital advertising platforms, CPC/E/M/A campaigns, and measuring ROI
• Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
• Strong quantitative background in finding trends and opportunities within data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues
• Aptitude, creativity and and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Expertise in MS Excel, Powerpoint and databases (Access, SQL, other)
• BA/BS degree or equivalent with specialization in engineering, marketing, business, or related field of study
