Due to recent growth in Australia, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Head of Market Research to join the rapidly expanding University Partnerships business unit.
The Head of Market Research will work closely with our partners to help craft their online programmes to be the very best they can be, bringing years of industry experience and best-practice to the forefront. This newly created role will be tasked with building an internal team responsible for the on-time delivery of market intelligence and analysis reports.
Key accountabilities;
• Build and lead the market research services team
• Lead a variety of market research projects (including both primary and secondary research) for business development and market expansion activities.
• Ideation of research models and IP to forecast and evaluate program viability
• Manage relationships with key alliance stakeholders in order to achieve greater value in the services offered
• Expand alliance relationships network through building relationships directly with faculty and across the entire institution
• Create a centre of knowledge and innovation
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Masters level degree in Marketing, Commerce or equivalent with research/ statistics major.
• Relevant research and analysis experience of working either in a Higher Education setting, business analytics or market research agency.
• Experience with multiple research methods (e.g., databases, business intelligence/ analytics software, surveys, focus groups)
• Experience in conducting data analyses that establish and document a business case; strength in using data and analytic information to build a persuasive business case
• Fluent in managing and analysing quantitative data, preferably with large data sets; Ability to distil information and make recommendations for future action
• Aptitude for detailed work while understanding the wider significant of their analysis. Impeccable attention to detail
