Job Summary:
Influences, Shapes and leads the Sales strategy, direction and execution for Xfinity Communities (MDU) and XoC (Universities) within the Northeast Division including telecommunication & wireless services.
Responsible for directing reporting procedures in Product Sales Support and Analysis department. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions within a B2B and B2C environment, including sales methodology & tatics, sales engineering & support.
Contributes to the development of the organization’s business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.
Core Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth, retention & customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for optimizing Sales effectiveness and productivity and the most optimal deployment of sales personnel.
• Works closely with sales leadership to define performance measurements & management practices
• Possesses an excellent knowledge of telecom transport/communication transport/networking technologies, Company's products/services, pricing practices, and selling skills to effectively oversee small-to-medium business sales deployment of new products and services that target the enterprise segment.
• Monitors and prepares reports and forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results and other activity and performance measures through experience with processing and analyzing of data. Ensures sales reporting, Business Intelligence and tools are provided to the sales organization.
• Develops, plans, and coordinates seminars, sale incentive plans, and other strategies to achieve business unit objectives. Exhibits excellent written and oral communications, interpersonal skills and planning, presentation and organizational skills.
• Identifies and implements improvements in business processes yielding, increased sales performance, and/or higher operational efficiency through excellent time management, decision-making, and human relations skills.
• Influences and recommends sales compensation, incentives & policies for the division
• Partners with Product Sales Team leaders and Marketing management to identify key reports, functionality, and system tasks to support the sales process and improve tracking, usage, and trend identification.
• Manages partnership with Product Sales teams by overseeing report generation, sales packet compilation, and ad-hoc administrative support as it relates to client prospecting, renewals, and development.
• Leads the creation and maintenance of inside sales reports, as developed by members of the Product Sales Team.
• Works closely with Sales management, the Sales team, and the Marketing team to identify marketing prospects and support lead tracking initiatives. May Prospect, support and accompany larger opportunities and division/national accounts
• Oversees daily activity reports and reporting trends and makes recommendations as needed on changes to reports, tactics, and current strategy.
• 25% travel.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

• Generally requires 12+ years related experience, ideally in a Sales leadership role
