Responsibilities
The FP&A Manager- Corporate, directs and oversees financial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting, providing financial oversight and driving financial performance for Corporate in NBCUniversal International.
Qualifications/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Forecasting / Budgeting and financial analysis for following central corporate depts:
◦ HR, Communications, Legal, Financial Operations, Controllership, Government Relations, Business Development, Executive (plus allocated costs to corporate depts.) & all corporate CAPEX.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders for all of the above groups to ensure accurate forecasts in these cost areas.
• Provide VP, FP & A and CFO and all key stakeholders with accurate and timely forecasts, variance analysis to understand key drivers identify and track risks and opportunities, and proactively drive actions with the corporate groups to minimise costs. Provide full commentary to support this analysis.
• Oversee headcount reporting and analysis across International.
• Ownership of monthly forecasts, pacing & annual budget and oversee the load submissions of these.
• Support key financial NBCU cycles – Long Range Plan (LRP), Budget and key estimates (April, July, October)
• Simplify and standardize processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and timeliness.
• Identify risks and opportunities vs budget and communicate early and effectively to management and stakeholders.
• Responsible for the monthly recharge process; creation & maintenance of recharge methodology.
• Oversee financial systems and processes relating to these P&L lines in order to increase visibility and efficiency.
• Work with controllership team, payroll and HR teams to ensure that changes to depts, cost centres and all recharges are captured in a timely manner.
• Pull together operating review data and pack with commentary for VP FP & A and CFO in line with operating review dates, liaise with all other groups that provide recharges or residual costs to corporate.
• Daily supervision & management of 1 Finance Analyst.
• Perform standard and ad hoc analysis as required.
Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant post graduate qualification
• Experience in financial modelling, analysis and reporting experience and previous experience in forecasting and budgeting experience
• Experience in developing and reporting business performance metrics
• Experience with SAP a plus
• ACA/CIMA/ACCA/FMP/CAS preferred
