OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Public Relations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Public Relations team on all publicity efforts. This position is overseeing all administrative functions and asset management for the Public Relations department. Duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring the departmental budget, preparation of daily press clip distribution and reports, keeping contact database and press lists current, organizing and maintaining all press materials, updating press materials and execute all logistics, such as talent travel bookings, for all events and press tours.
All of the Public Relations Coordinator's work should contribute to the network's ability to pursue revenue, ratings, web traffic and branding goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support management of the PR department’s budget, including preparing budget summaries monthly or as needed
• Process all the departmental invoices
• Organize and distribute the daily press clip report, as well as press coverage reports as needed
• Order and maintain PR materials and supplies
• Coordinate with the department’s vendors on design and creation of assets (such as press kits and DVDs) and mailings
• Create and maintain press lists and ensure that the contact database is current
• Update press materials and photos
• Execute all logistics, such as booking talent travel, make-up artists, stylists, security staff, catering, photographer etc., for the department’s events and press tours
• Track and renew departmental trade and consumer press subscriptions
QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and still meet necessary deadlines within a fast-paced environment

• 1-2 years of PR industry experience
