Senior Manager, Marketing & Distribution Finance
The Worldwide Theatrical Marketing & Distribution Finance team manages all financial planning, analysis, and accounting for all worldwide territories.
The Senior Manager of Domestic Marketing and Distribution Finance will manage financials regarding domestic marketing and distribution cost which total over $500 million per year, including determining annual budgets by film and identifying opportunities to reduce costs. This role is involved in the annual MRP, Division Budget, quarterly forecasts and other financial reporting cycles. The person in this role will work closely with Marketing and Distribution operations and will play a supporting role in negotiating rates with vendors, including working closely with procurement on a variety of marketing vendor contracts, such as creative vendor contracts. They also will partner with the Accounts Payable function for WWMD in Manilla to ensure timely processing of invoices for marketing and distribution costs. The Senior Manager/Director has 1 direct report (Analyst) and reports to the Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution Finance.
Core Responsibilities:
Budgeting/Forecasting:
• This position will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and forecasting of Domestic marketing and distribution costs for Mid-Range Plan (MRP), Division Budget and weekly reporting.
Modeling:
• The Senior Manager will be responsible for all marketing and distribution modeling by film label. This includes financial models for pre-open media, support media, basics, release prints and other releasing cost categories.
Manila Shared Services Vendor-Client Management
• Work closely with the Manila Shared Service Center and ensure KPIs for service are met and that processing of marketing and distribution invoices is timely. Work with GBS team to consider opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce resource needs as possible (i.e., robotics).
Other
• Work closely with VP on core marketing financials to manage budgets, identify cost savings opportunities and execute any vendor negotiations as needed.
• Prepare Worldwide P&A&O reports for various 3rd party co-finance partners, including LoneStar, MGM, Village Roadshow, Alcon and Studio 8.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:
• Strong knowledge of motion picture marketing and budgets
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles forecasting models.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong SAP skills

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills required
• Excellent attention to detail required
Ability To:
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines
• Proven ability to perform well, both independently and as a team

Experience & Education:
BA/BS Degree
Licenses: CPA preferred
