The AEG owned and operated arena continues to distinguish itself as the host of major, high-profile events of national and international distinction including the 2004 & 2011 NBA All-Star Games, 2002 NHL All-Star Game, 2000 Democratic National Convention, 2009 World Figure Skating Championships and 15 of the last 16 GRAMMY Awards shows. STAPLES Center’s fifteen years have also been marked with performances and special events that brought international stature to the downtown Los Angeles venue including concerts by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (who played the arena’s first-ever public event on October 17, 1999), Mana, Prince, U2, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Usher, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Roger Waters, Britney Spears, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Sade and Justin Timberlake, as well as world championship boxing, family shows and special events. Hosting over 250 events a year, the arena’s reputation for world-class amenities, features and commitment to quality of service and the guest experience is second to none. Staples, Inc. entered into a 20-year agreement to become the arena’s Naming Rights Partner December 1, 1998, which has since been extended into perpetuity.
The Administrative Support Coordinator will provide daily support to the Premium Ticket Operations management team by performing administrative tasks including, but not limited to, preparing contracts, managing client records, performing ticketing duties, and preparing various reports.

Essential Duties:
1. Administer and prepare contracts and addendums
2. Create and manage client records – build new accounts in ticketing system, maintain and update contact information, update contract attributes, link accounts when needed.
3. Perform ticketing tasks – generate invoices, process payments, sell in events, print and mail out tickets for new clients
4. Inventory, maintain, and order all office supplies and equipment as needed
5. Assist in season and monthly ticket mailings
6. Maintain and organize filing system
7. Maintain departmental budget book
8. Maintain and organize current and past client files
9. Maintain and organize filing system
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Preferred)
2. Ability to interact positively with diverse staff and clientele in a fast-paced environment
3. Ability to work under pressure of a fast-paced operation and under time constraints
4. Ability to interact and communicate effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner not only with clients and guests, but with co-workers within the organization
5. Ability to prioritize workload and solve problems quickly and react to difficult situations appropriately
6. Ability to write reports and business correspondence
7. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
8. Ability to analyze problems involving many variables
9. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience with Veritix or other ticketing system preferred
2. Must possess basic computer skills using such programs as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
