Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant to the SVP North America Retail will multi-task, interact and coordinate across multiple departments within Universal Pictures and various divisions across NBCUniversal while fulfilling all assistant duties. On a daily basis, the individual in this position will be someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, have the ability to seek out information from various sources and have exceptional follow through.
Essential Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate various meetings including partner meetings, approvals meetings, staff meetings, cross-divisional meetings etc.
Administer clerical duties such as correspondence, calendar, travel and expenses, invoices, multi-tasking, filing and covering phones
Maintain marketing materials, video library, production assets, film stills, etc
Work with Universal Picture Brand Development Group
Coordinate and organize cross-divisional requests as it applies to film marketing/creative materials, sales and events
Work with the Retail groups to assist in the gathering and compiling of research and data
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Prior experience in the entertainment industry specifically marketing, promotions, publicity
Bachelor degree in marketing or related field
Prior administrative experience
Excellent attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:
Strong written (writing sample required) and communication skills at all levels
Excellent computer skills
Expertise in PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Microsoft based software: Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Photo Shop
An individual seeking this position should have past a minimum of 1 year experience working with multiple clients, departments, etc.
