Pearson is seeking a dynamic and customer focused Senior Technical Recruiter to be accountable for the delivery of recruitment services to the Pearson Technology and Operations business.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the technical recruiting function. You will use your outstanding relationship building skills to form strong partnerships with stakeholders. In addition to this, you will use your knowledge of the technology industry to develop and implement an effective sourcing, screening and selection process. This position will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition for Technology.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
● Partner with key stakeholders to develop recruitment strategies for critical technology roles
● Deliver consultative talent acquisition services for a range of technical roles
● Focus on continuous improvements to increase hiring process efficiency
● Develop and execute effective strategies in employer branding, recruitment marketing and innovative sourcing in order to attract strong technical talent
● Provide excellent candidate experience
● Guide and educate Hiring Managers on process, policies and programs
● Support, plan and actively advocate Pearson’s diversity goals and initiatives
● Manage relationships with vendors and partners
● Project manage key initiatives that impact the overall technology recruitment strategy
● Identify market trends and best practices to influence business decisions around external talent attraction
Experience
● Proven history of full-cycle recruiting - identifying, assessing and hiring high calibre talent in a technology organisation
● Experience with recruitment in a large enterprise organisation
● Extensive experience recruiting a variety of technical positions across Architecture, Security, Infrastructure and Development
● Outstanding communication skills including the ability to influence business partners and key decision makers across the organisation
● Understand the importance of candidate experience and operate with a customer focused mindset at all times
● Able to think creatively and design innovative sourcing campaigns
● Strong business acumen, analytical and planning skills with a genuine desire to understand the way digital technology is impacting education
● Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive and deliver results
● Strong proficiency with technologies and social media channels – ATS, MS Office, etc.
