DESCRIPTION:
2017 TV Research Internship (6-12 mths)
Great opportunity for a dependable, enthusiastic, and motivated student with career interests in the television industry to learn Nielsen rating methodologies. Candidate would work with senior executives within the national broadcast research department to help satisfy day to day needs and timely requests. Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
• Preparation and distribution of Nielsen ratings and charts using MS Office.
• Various related TV Research duties including office projects and office assistance
Seeking intern to start in June 2017
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required skills:
• Ideal candidate should have firm analytical skills and be a self-starter
• Ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to constant change
• Willingness to take and follow directions and to ask questions when uncertain of task
• Strong Excel, Word and Internet skills a must
• Minimum commitment is 6 mth; 12 mths preferred
• Must be a college student (Marketing or Communications major preferred
