Job Title Assoc Dir Sales Development - Martha Stewart Living Marketing
The Associate Director, Marketing partners closely with Account Executives and Management to develop proposals, analyze research, develop brand strategy initiatives, oversee sold program execution and create a strategic point of difference that is consistently communicated through all sales collateral (i.e. general sales and category presentations), media kit materials and target account communications. Must be fluent across media including, print, digital, social and video production.
Essential Job Functions
50% Coordinates with marketing and sales staff to develop and execute strategic and creative proposals that are on target for the website and magazine and strategically position it to the advertising community. Must be fluent across media.
20% Support Brand Director in developing brand positioning, and oversee the development of high impact print and integrated sales materials, including general sales and account presentations, media kit materials, promotional mailings, target account communications and other collateral. Manage video timelines and production schedules as part of integrated marketing programs.
10% Works with corporate research solutions to build sales strategies for specific accounts and category development.
15% Manages, motivates and mentors marketing associate, manager and senior marketing managers.
5% Accompanies members of sales staff on calls with client and/or agency.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor‘s degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
At least 8 years of integrated marketing/brand/print experience.
At least 5 years of digital marketing experience including video.
Management experience preferred.
