Responsibilities
Purpose
The Assistant Manager, Accommodations is responsible for supporting the Game Services team in the planning and management of people and logistics within several hotel and apartment properties for the upcoming Olympic Games in South Korea. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) maintaining accurate assignments and lists in the NBC sports management system, management of staff housing, providing updates and rooming lists to each property, maintaining accurate records of hotel expenses. Position may include some training, scheduling, payroll and other duties, such as assisting in the management of the logistics office at an NBC property. In addition, the Accommodations Assistant Manager will assist in the organization of additional events and functions, as required.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated end date of mid-March 2018; unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed
Responsibilities
Provide support to the Accommodations team leading up to and throughout the 2018 Olympic Winter Games
Manage logistical data in the NBC sports database
Assist with staff hotel placements in PyeongChang and Stamford
Review rooming lists and contracts related to NBC’s various room blocks and allocations
Perform regular audits of system data to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues
Liaise with internal NBC departments to determine accommodations needs
Assist with on-site operations in Accommodations Logistics Offices
Other tasks within the Games Services Department as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be 18 years or older
