AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance: touring, one-offs, sponsorship, festivals, and special events with seventeen+ regional offices and over thirty-seven-state-of the-art venues. AEG Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The Premium Ticketing Coordinator will provide an array of administrative and supportive functions vital to the Premium Ticketing department overall core functionality. This position will be responsible for interfacing with customers via email and phone. Additionally, the Premium Ticketing Coordinator will create and maintain show files and customer databases to ensure the department has access to current and accurate data.
Essential Duties:
1. Assist with ticket inventory and overall pricing of ticketing. Maintain dynamic pricing initiatives. Coordinate and advance numerous items essential for overall program functionality and on-site execution.
2. Facilitate sales on back end. Provide data on how tickets are selling and develop innovative ways to increase revenue. Respond to customer service inquiries through dedicated email and phone systems.
3. Assist on the overall design and development of initiatives for VIP and Platinum ticketing.
4. Assist and provide input on collateral, sales and marketing materials. Act as departmental liaison to coworkers, venues, management, agencies, etc.
5. Research vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies. Product research, data collection and pricing assessments.
6. Create and maintain event files and client databases. Evaluate existing platforms to ensure content is both accessible and accurate.
7. Assist with compilation and subsequent distribution of ticket counts, settlements and reconciliations. Process and fulfill duties associated with ticket orders, invoicing, mailings and payments.
8. Actively participate in local functions affiliated with premium initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications:
1. A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Preferred)
2. 2 – 4 years of related work experience
3. Working knowledge of supply and demand based economics and underlying principles.
4. Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
5. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications including: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
6. Strong work ethic, results orientated, with the ability to go above and beyond what is necessary to achieve success.
7.Willingness to work long, irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to take direction with little to no follow up
10. Bilingual language skills (English and Spanish) may be required
11. Experience in the entertainment or sports industries is preferred
12. Experience working with ticketing platforms is preferred
