As our team and scope grows, we are looking for a strong solution-oriented coordinator with a can-do attitude and in-market experience in event operations to help set us up for continued success. This support role is crucial in ensuring Twitter events and experiences continue to thrive and drive impact. The Global Events Marketing team sits within Twitter’s Brand & Creative Studio and works cross-functionally with various internal orgs to meet overarching business objectives. WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Marketing Coordinator will support the Global Event Marketing team with department projects and specific event related tasks as needed. This person will be a critical partner managing several important business functions and ensuring key presentation tools, team accounts and subscriptions and ensuring all equipment is maintained. Some travel will be expected.
• Support the Event Marketing team with logistics and travel as needed
• Handle RSVP management
• Negotiate with partners and vendors to finalize agreements and work out contracts
• Oversee sourcing event premiums and manage inventory
• Pack, ship, and track event materials/supplies to/from events
• Work with the team to develop process and procedures for day-to-day business operations
• Coordinate assigned events (type of events will depend on skill level), from conception to budget reconciliation to ROI tracking
• Keep our internal event-marketing vendor/resource database up-to-date
• Work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple projects with competing priorities
• Be an active and contributing member in our team’s creative think tank

• You communicate effectively; you are a good listener, give/take clear direction verbally and have strong writing skills

• Solve unforeseen situations as they arise in a calm manner
• Be a fast-learner, who can quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
• Has an interest or passion for event marketing and strategy
• Is creative; detail oriented
• Able to quickly and easily adapt to changing environments and priorities
REQUIREMENTS
• 2-4 years of directly related event industry experience
• Understanding of Google Suite for Business including use of Google Drive (documents, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Mac and Keynote proficient; Microsoft Office suite as well
• Illustrator and Photoshop desired but not required
