The Opportunity

As part of the Design organization, the Product Creative team partners with content providers to acquire, approve, design, and publish all artwork and product assets representing titles on the Netflix service. The Role
As Manager, Product Creative - International, you will lead a team of Producers who oversee the acquisition, creation, design, QC, and language localization of artwork and Product specific assets that represent licensed titles on the Netflix service. You and your team will build and strengthen relationships with studio partners, creative agencies and cross-functional Netflix teams in the U.S. and around the world. You will educate partners on our style guide and delivery requirements to ensure high technical and creative quality standards.
International Focus
As the leader of an international production team, you will hire and manage bi-lingual staff in the U.S. You will travel frequently to our international offices to strengthen relationships with our internal and external partners. Initially, your focus will be in Japan, Korea and other Asia Pacific territories.

You enjoy tackling challenges head-on and finding creative solutions.

• Develop creative production pipelines utilizing bilingual staff to optimize communication with regional partners.
• Communicate the purpose and workflow of Product Creative across Netflix cross-functional teams, and continually evolve the team’s vision as we learn from and grow our content.
• Ensure that our work is creatively excellent and highly engaging, and based in aggressive use of metrics to drive decisions and strategy.
The Right Stuff
• 10+ years of experience managing creative production teams.
• Substantial experience building and managing teams with bilingual staff in international regions.
• Fluency in Japanese, in addition to English is valued but not required.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Strong, tenacious leadership.
• Capable and conversant in all aspects of a digital creative, asset management, tool development, and image production workflow.
• Proven ability to build strong cross functional relationships with both technical and creative partners.
• Effective at giving honest and direct feedback to coach team members for improvement
