The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing a variety of projects including print graphics and advertisements, web content, multi-media, and other projects that may arise. Incumbents will work on design/production for a variety of projects which include: advertising, sales brochures, sales proposals, outdoor graphics, and web banners. As a member of a fast-paced team, the graphic designer will need to stay aware of current trends in design and visual communication in order to creatively and proactively address design problems.
Essential Duties
•Conceptualize and execute a variety of print, web, multi-media, and projects
•Provide graphic designs for branding/identify, ads (print and web), brochures, and various other print collateral; follow brand identity standards, specifically colors, typefaces, and graphic styles
Required Qualifications
•A minimum education level of a Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
•Years of related work experience: Minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience working as a professional designer
•Working knowledge of print technology, production, and ability to meet tight timelines.
•Adobe CS5: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat required
•Microsoft Office Products: Word, Outlook PowerPoint
•Excellent print layout and typography skills
•Email marketing and HTML experience preferred
•Extremely strong attention to detail
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and turn projects around quickly
Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):
•Print and web design experience preferred
•Dreamweaver and Flash experience is a plus
•Experience with professional printing and project management preferred
•CSS, JavaScript, and Flex experience is a plus
