The Security & Guest Services Coordinator will work independently on department projects and assignments. They will also assist, coordinate and work with LACC Security & Guest Services management in order to achieve all departmental goals and objectives. This coordinator will be dedicated to providing an exceptional level of service and technical support to all our clients, guest and employees.
Essential Duties:
• Coordinates and assists in the development of security and guest services guidelines and procedures to protect our employees, guests, facilities, events and assets.
• Maintains regular contact with and provides services to LACC’s clients, guests and employees.
• Tracks and analyzes security and guest services related trends and tendencies.
• Assists in the development and implementation of Emergency Action Plans (EAP) for LACC.
• Assists in the development of safety, security and guest services programs and training materials.
• Provides employee training and awareness educational programs, workshops, and accountability tracking.
• Facilitates and organizes monthly safety committee meetings
• Prepares and edits reports, meeting agenda/minutes, PowerPoint and other presentations.
• Performs daily duties for LACC Security & Guest Services management. (Maintains calendar, schedule appointments and meetings, prepares monthly expense reports; answers phones and makes travel arrangements for VP of Security & Guest Services and assists with recruitment candidates.)
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum education level of a High School Diploma or equivalency (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• 1-3 years in the Security field required. (Previous Coordinator experience preferred.)
• Must possess working knowledge of principles and practices of Security guidelines and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with AEG/LACC team members, clients and guests.
• Must have general knowledge of electronic payroll and scheduling procedures
• Have a basic understanding of workers’ compensation rules and general liability insurance principles
• Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends to provide support to the Department, events and projects
• Maintain a sense of urgency with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
• Tracking and providing timely updates of interviews and new hire processes.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• A verifiable track record of integrity, diligence and teamwork.
• Must be able to think creatively and possess good interpersonal relationship skills
• Attendance recording
• Willingly perform other duties as assigned
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
