Responsibilities
The Supervisor, Enterprise Systems - Extended Support will be responsible for leading the Extended Support team. This position will report directly to the Manager, Enterprise Systems and will have daily responsibilities for supervision and scheduling for this team.
The primary focus of this team and role is to provide consistent support 7 days a week for the applications and systems under IT Operations. This team will be the first level of support to help mitigate issues and provide the on-call teams with more details in order to solve the issue.
The extended support team will be comprised of individuals that are familiar with the ins and outs of the IT Operations applications and systems. With this knowledge, they will be able to troubleshoot and provide assistance to most problems that a user/business experiences.
This position requires the ability to quickly understand, communicate and problem solve with the various team members on issues that may be impacting our business operations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leads and manages a team that supports and collaborates with various departments throughout IT Operations.
• Provides on call support for our IT Ops applications and systems.
• Provides training and onboarding for team members.
• Works with the various IT Ops team to ensure that the correct sys/app documentation is in our document resource library.
Qualifications/Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering required.
EXPERIENCE:
• 7 to 10 years experience working in and have a general knowledge of support of IT Operations systems and applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and programs.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, and business clients.; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
