Job Description:
As Senior Experience Designer you are well versed in information architecture and interaction design and are familiar with user research, and content strategy. You collaborate within the UX team on large-scale projects and/or function independently on smaller projects with minimal oversight. You are capable of creating a wide variety of UX deliverables, tailoring your approach depending on the problem to be solved.
Responsibilities:
• Create interactive prototypes, wireframes, navigation flows and other interaction design deliverables for desktop, tablet, mobile and in-store experiences
• Translate complex business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences and document detailed user experience specifications
• Mentor and support junior user experience members of the team
• Facilitate ideation and sketching sessions with teams and clients
• Experiment with new methods, tools, and techniques to continually improve our work
• Participate in user research, concept testing, and usability testing
• Conduct competitive audits and expert reviews
• Assist with content inventories, audits and assessments
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience working on complex software or ecommerce projects, with medium to large-sized teams, preferably in a cross disciplinary digital agency
• Digitally-savvy with a passion for underlying technology platforms that support our solutions
• A life-long learner on a continuous quest to improve your craft
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, Omnigraffle, Axure, Invision and/or other prototyping tools
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Previous experience or familiarity with agile teams and agile methodologies a plus
• Degree in interaction design or a related field, such as human-computer interaction, library science, or industrial design preferred but not required
• Portfolio showcasing your contribution to experience design across a range of industries and/or devices
This is a 6 month contract opportunity.
