Photographer/Videographer
Strong photojournalism and videography engage readers in ways written words cannot. The Lansing State Journal, part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is looking for a photographer/videographer who embraces this role of visual storytelling. This full-time photographer will be able to tell stories across multiple platforms and be willing to take risks in how stories are told. Aside from technical skills, this visual journalist must be able to connect with readers in person and via social media. This person will be required to pursue original ideas in addition to supporting reporter-generated stories. Sports photography experience a plus. Basic videography skills are required.
Qualified candidates will have:
• Bachelor's in Communications, Journalism or equivalent in experience and education.
• Experience with photojournalism on multiple platforms.
