Responsibilities
Build strong partnerships with business leaders, IT management, and team resources
Own business engagement for all IT services
Understand business processes and procedures with respect to Accounts Receivable, FP&A, and Ad Sales organizations within the Owned Television Stations group
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the above functional areas
Work with business leaders and IT to identify business needs and recommend solutions. Coordinate with other IT project teams within the organization as needed to implement quality solutions for business initiatives
Work closely with various platform owners of financial systems within the company. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to, insuring enhancements and defects are properly communicated and addressed, insuring existing business processes and procedures are not negatively impacted as a result of a planned systems upgrade, business stakeholders are aware and understand scope of changes, and Stations specific enhancements and defect resolution requests are addressed
Work closely with various Ad Sales Systems managers within the Owned Stations Technology Team. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to, providing finance specific business requirements, articulating and documenting process workflows, and business requirements are properly translated into technical requirements
Provide regular updates to business and IT leadership on project status and operational issues
Work closely with the senior director, managers and project managers to establish project scoping, budget estimates, priorities and provide regular project status
Oversee and continually work to improve processes for approving, prioritizing and scheduling requests, enhancements, and projects
Provide expert critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills to assess, identify, test and resolve reported application issues
Provide training, support and guidance to the business community on application features and enhancements
Collaborate with vendor in preparing SOWs, change requests
Create PO requests, review and approve invoices, prepare quarterly accrual reports and maintain pacing and burn rate for pertaining to the larger Stations technology ecosystem
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required in computer science, information systems or related field
Minimum 5 years business analysis and project management experience
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Finance groups/organizations
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Financial systems
Working knowledge of Financial processes and procedures
Proven experience working with applications supporting financial applications and/or databases
Proven experience and understanding of the full system development life cycle and the dynamics of application development projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
A demonstrated track record of success in developing excellent relationships with key business partners and stakeholders
Skilled project manager with strong analytic skills and proven ability to deliver multiple, concurrent and inter-related initiatives on time and within budget
Skilled in documenting functional and non-functional requirements and reviewing design specifications
Skilled in SDLC and project methodologies for software development
Skilled in coordinating testing, test case development and deployment plans
General experience using defect tracking and change management processes, metrics and tools
Proficient with Microsoft Office

PMP Certification or equivalent experience
Project time and cost estimation ability
