We have an exciting opportunity for a highly detailed and organized Digital Marketing Specialist who is eager to apply their skill set and talent into supporting our rapidly expanding digital marketing efforts.
The focus of the role is to support integrated digital campaign efforts, from strategy, to execution, and finally to results measurement. One must have prior knowledge of all digital media channels (social media advertising, SEO/PPC, email marketing, analytical tools and Salesforce.com). The opportunity will also consist of being comfortable with digital analytics as you will play a key role in building out the analytical capabilities of the Digital Marketing team. A level of comfort with data and ambiguity is a must.
Beyond a talent for creative problem solving and digging into the data, the successful candidate will exude passion, a learning-first mentality, and a driving desire for excellence in all they do. An important part of this role will be working closely with internal teams to help create and offer recommendations for a wide range of digital marketing capabilities. You will be expected to be a key driver of diverse marketing campaigns and understand how numerous parts of an integrated approach to digital marketing, including SEO/PPC, social, analytics, email marketing, and building a culture of constant testing and refinement leads to successful results.

Here is what you will get to do:
Digital Analytics
• Achieve a targeted ROI for all ad spends on a daily basis during PPC/Social campaigns
• Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness and share learnings on audience targets, digital creative, and channel performance
• Utilize other platforms, such as Adobe Analytics and Salesforce.com to process ad hoc reporting requests to key stakeholders
Digital Marketing Strategy
• Contribute ideas to the team and maximize business impact in a fast-paced, collaborative digital environment
• Be expected to pursue and build a wealth of knowledge in other avenues of digital marketing including social, email campaigns, and marketing automation. You will have ample opportunity to learn and develop your skills!
• Campaign calendarization, scheduling and documentation. Managing several competing priorities. Must be highly organized
• Responsible for distribution list segmentation, and work order documentation
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Market Research, Sales, Business, (or related field), or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with email marketing
• 1-2 years of professional experience with SEO techniques and creating PPC/Social Advertising campaigns, preferably with more than one client simultaneously; solid ability to prove business impact through ROI metrics
• Practice of SEO theory and applied techniques (web ranking, link analysis, data analytics, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, basic server functions, and the definitions and SEO implications of advanced website techniques
• Understanding how SEO/PPC/Social Advertising efforts play a role within a larger digital marketing team to contribute to a unified vision of digital campaigns
• Familiarity with Digital Analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics (preferred)
• Some experience with basic visualization tools such as Excel or Tableau (desired)
• Minimum level of full-stack digital marketing knowledge; do not need to be expert in other digital fields (social media), but should be able to hold a conversation and help instill confidence in stakeholders for team to become a center of digital excellence
• Passionate learner and self-starter! Comfortable owning your projects and have a ‘learner-focused’ mindset in a rapidly changing environment. Self-driven to take action, learn from your mistakes, and bring a wealth of knowledge to the digital marketing team
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com and lead tracking
• Exceptional ability to communicate (verbal, written, digital) effectively and respectfully with a diverse group of professionals; managing priorities to meet deliverables and doing it with a sense of humor/smile
• Strong interest in storytelling and business strategy (important in all aspects of digital marketing)
• Solid organizational, analytical and problem solving skills and abilities
• Firm understanding of the K-12 education market buying cycle (preferably Pearson’s products) an added plus!
