Your Day
The Agency Platform Account Director position will play a key role in developing relationships with clients and up-selling them on the benefits of BrightRoll DSP. In addition, the Account Director will provide our Director/Lead Agency Trading Desk sellers with the necessary internal and external support for all pre and post-sales efforts. This person will own the process for sales preparation materials and be the point person for content collaboration with Client Engagement and content preparation for their Director sellers and maintain the day-to-day relationship with the Agency clients, such as responsibility for account maintenance and relationship management once clients are brought on board within the New York/East Region.
• Engage with Agency Trading Desks/Agency Programmatic clients directly to educate and sell them on our demand side platform technology stack
• Support Director/Lead ATD sellers to assist in closing platform deals with Agency clients and influence their spend on our platform(s).
• Manage Regional Agency Programmatic relationships and grow those partnerships post close with tasks such as leading QBRs, running monthly or weekly office hour check-ins, and client entertainment
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on product requirements that will drive future revenue from existing customers
• Learn about our tech, research the competition, uncover market intelligence, and provide key insights to clients
• Maintain pipeline and update internal team members on areas you need help, guidance, or training
• Collaborate internally with Client Direct, Field Sales, Specialists, marketing, legal, and product teams
What you will need:
• Experience buying or selling an ad platform user interface and software, or similar enterprise platform
• Proven ability to build deep consultative relationships and grow revenue from existing customers
• Ability to multi-task without allowing performance to suffer; work in a fast-paced agile environment
• Ability to build rapport and trust while super-serving our client partners
• Previous digital and/or account management experience preferred
• BA/BS degree or equivalent required
Added bonus:
• Experience with programmatic buying/selling
• Technical knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including ad platforms, exchanges, DSPs, DMPs and related ad technology
• High level ability to remain organized while being a strategic thinker with the ability to understand internal and external needs
• Experience driving revenue from existing business a plus
• Ability to prospect potential new business
