Framestore is looking for a communications coordinator to join our sales and marketing team in our LA office.
The communications coordinator works within the Framestore integrated advertising division and all its departments. The main focus is to support sales and marketing activity, to support marketing programs and platforms and to better convey the company in the marketplace.
The successful candidate will work closely with the business development manager, marketing director, US dept heads and global head of marketing to help implement a communication strategy for the various target audience for all integrated advertising departments.
Responsibilities:
• Support sales in arranging agency screenings and presentations to target audience
• Create and/or co-manage production of sales reels, interactive PDFs, presentations, director treatments, other elements to support sales and marketing and company thought leadership
• Schedule and attend re-occurring meetings for sales + marketing
• Generate breaking spots list for LA + NY + Chicago
• Maintaining client and contact database
• Updating wiredrive
• Propose new ideas and innovate the way Framestore promotes itself in the marketplace
• Draft and manage target mailing lists; track any campaign results
• Maintain and update calendar for project deliveries
• Play a key role in coordinating and organizing industry, networking, business/client, and community events
• Stay current with industry trends and the competition; experiment with emerging platforms and new technologies
• Be an advocate of the company in all aspects, both internally and externally
• Prep materials for website, social channels, and PR across all sectors of the business
• Help coordinate press interviews and pull together materials
• Coordinating materials, travel and arrangements for client events and speaking engagements
• Helping to format presentations
• Coordination of some staff social events
• Supporting annual staff presentations
• Assisting with awards submissions
Skills required:
• Strong writing skills
• Experienced in relationship building with journalists, providing press materials where necessary
• Ability to follow up to ensure deadlines are met
• Knowledge of the VFX production industry and advertising market
• Confident with web design/HTML, social media APIs, Adobe creative suite tools.
• Experience in digital/TV/Film/content production
• Demonstrated ability to manage social media and public relations programs for a company
• Proven track record of listening and engaging with the online community and acting on company's behalf
• Experience in putting together briefing notes for award attendees, and managing awards submissions
• Self-Starter with a positive, proactive attitude
• Personable, collaborative, effective and deadline oriented
• Ability to negotiate and problem solve to a desired outcome
• Act as a social ambassador for the company both internally and externally
• Manages own time to ensure tasks completed as required
• Remains calm in a hectic production environment
