As the Head of Global Marketing UK you will define and drive the regional consumer marketing strategy and oversee a team to execute highly effective integrated local and globally driven marketing campaigns, programs and partnerships that drive brand love and business growth. You will be responsible for communicating with a large consumer base to make sure people in UK stay connected through Spotify.
You will be part of the Global Marketing organization based in our London office, reporting into the Head of European Marketing. Working in collaboration with a cross-functional team (Comms, Label Relations, Strategic partnerships, Sales & Browse) you will help to identify cross-functional needs and opportunities that will drive the regional business forward. There is occasional travel to the US and within Europe.
What you'll do:
• Drive the leadership, direction and development of Spotify’s consumer marketing strategy, plans and execution throughout the region with the main focus on Germany.
• Develop consumer marketing strategies to retain the brand leadership position and continue growing Spotify’s business in the UK through creating programs for traditional, digital and social channels
• Leverage existing relationships with partners to stay relevant, top of mind and create ongoing consumer engagement for Spotify
• Work closely with UK cross-functional lead team to set cross-functional strategies and plans that drive the UK business forward
• Represent our consumer audience in the UK within the wider CMO Organization.
• Manage and motivate a UK Manager
• Oversee the regional marketing budget and conduct regular reporting in-line with Global expectations.
Who you are:
• BA/BS required.
• 10+ years relevant experience in consumer, digital media or entertainment marketing, including with an International brand.
• Proven track record of converting high-level business and marketing strategy into tangible, effective local marketing campaigns across channels.
• End-to-end experience of campaign development from initial briefing all the way to execution.
• Highly data literate. Able to interrogate market, consumer and customer data and present recommendations market and consumer
• Portfolio of strong consumer marketing campaigns resulting in customer acquisition and business partnerships.
• Able to shift from strategic to tactical projects quickly and comfortably
• You easily collaborate with and lead cross-functional, cross-regional teams
• You can work autonomously in an unstructured environment
• Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial, hands-on spirit
• You bring a great attitude, with a passion for the Spotify brand and the ability to motivate and inspire
