Olive Tree Bible Software, a division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, is looking for a dynamic marketing professional to join our creative and high-performing marketing team and assist with managing content and community for Olive Tree, whose Bible apps reach more than 1 million users each month.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Digital Marketing Associate will have a range of marketing, content generation, and advertising responsibilities. The Digital Marketing Associate will focus on engaging our users with content to deepen their study of the Bible, grow their understanding of how to use our suite of apps, and increase their knowledge of our products, including but not limited to:
• Creating articles for the Olive Tree in-app message center, blog, and social media outlets
• Writing email newsletter copy and subject lines
• Assisting in the creation and implementation of customer journey engagement funnels
• Managing social media and blog communities
• Creating press releases
• Optimizing our use of paid and free advertising to increase our user base and conversions
• Tracking category search-term positioning, researching best practices, and making changes to keywords, app names, and app descriptions to improve App Store rankings
• Research and implement SEO techniques to further improve our search engine positioning
• Handles additional tasks as directed by senior team members
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
Strong competencies in writing, editing, marketing, and ASO/SEO techniques, but also an interest and knowledge of trends in audience engagement, lead generation, sales funnels, conversion strategies, and content marketing.

Work Experience:1-3 years’ experience in publishing, marketing, mass media, or advertising
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Media Studies, Marketing, Theology, Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience
Industry Knowledge: Social media, Bible study products, digital Bible study applications, marketing/advertising
Skills:
• Copywriting: writing marketing copy, headlines, sales offers, and calls-to-action
• Ability to test, measure, and adapt to optimize performance of any campaign
• WordPress, Word, Excel
• eMail platforms (Silverpop, MailChimp, etc.)
• Social media community platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram)
• Social media advertising
• Basic video production/editing is a plus
