The Role
You will be working with the Vice President of our Computer Aided and Hybrid Manufacturing organization and his team. This is an experienced group of professionals with a global team. How You Will Spend Your Day
• Support the VP/Birmingham Site Leader and his extended direct staff
• Manage and maintain calendars
• Assist with business travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reports
• Plan and coordinate events and meetings on and offsite, including preparation of meeting materials, logistics and catering
• Maintain email aliases, distribution lists and shared directories
• Provide meeting support, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and tracking action items
• Support our Intern and Graduate recruitment program by partnering with the Program Manager and Talent Acquisition team
• Manage information flow within the department and communicate new corporate policies/programs that affect team members. Serve as liaison between corporate office(s) by disseminating key communication pieces and distributing materials
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, internal departments and outside vendors to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate on special projects

Job Requirements
• Ability to manage projects and demonstrate initiative
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, power-point etc.)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Education to GCSE level with Maths and English at grades A* - C or equivalent
• 5 + years relevant experience
• Can travel to events or internal meetings, locally or internationally (no more than 10% of time)
