• Assists the Regional Partnership Director by coordinating the day-to-day activities of the marketing, student recruitment, retention and instructional design teams for the specified client portfolio.
• Chairs internal and external cross-functional team meetings and responsible for tracking follow-up action items that arise as a result of these meetings.
• Assists the PD in the building of relationships with faculty, staff, and administration at our AP’s to foster greater collaboration, influence favorable policies and procedures, and to cultivate a deeper understanding between partners.
• Works with Associate Directors of Marketing, Recruitment Services and Student Support Services to optimize business metrics for each program.
• Stays in frequent communication with functional teams to maintain a detailed understanding of challenges and successes the teams are experiencing.
• Identifies opportunities for growth for each program.
• Monitors AP processes and facilitates improvements to enhance program business performance.
• Solves AP issues involving application, transcript review, registrar, financial aid, reconciliation, invoicing and cash collection.
• Maintains internal reporting resources such as the AP Scorecard, Marketing Scorecard, Program Prospectus, AP Contact Info, SWOT Analysis Summary, Relationship Org Charts, and others as delegated by PD.
• Assists PD in the preparation of Steering Committee Reports and applicable ad-hoc analysis and travels to the AP if requested by PD, with travel estimated at less than 15%.
• In coordination with Associate Directors of Recruitment and Student Support Services, submits bi-weekly forecasts and maintains input into Veritas.
• Assists RPD in budget preparation activities.
• Manages projects as assigned by the RPD.
• In the absence of the RPD, assumes the overall management of the business unit.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred, Master’s degree preferred.
• Non-profit higher education account management experience - highly preferred. Or, strong proven functional leadership experience as an Associate Director within a Pearson business unit or from a non-profit higher education institution.
• Experience as general manager, department head, or in academic or business leadership role where multiple decision influencers and decision makers were involved.
• Executive level oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead by influence.
• Creative and persistent problem solver.
• Able to analyze and explain financial statements, budgets and critical performance metrics to C-level executives and clients.
• Highly organized with project management / coordination experience.
