We are currently seeking an ambitious, goal oriented individual to join our dynamic and highly-motivated team as Manager of User Acquisition. Our Marketing team has grown the successful Crunchyroll service to over 750,000 paying subscribers and over 20 million free users internationally, and now we are looking to replicate that success with our newly launched platform VRV.
This is a rare opportunity to help fuel growth of a product in it’s peak growth phase, while also facing the exciting challenge of building and growing a new product from the ground up. This role will have huge influence on our company’s success, with significant room for personal growth and development. This position will manage a variety of paid media channels and is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their skillset and oversee a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Execute digital marketing campaigns to promote user acquisition through a variety of paid media channels such as search engine marketing, display advertising (including social media, video, mobile and app install ads), and TV advertising
• Grow our subscriber base and increase customer lifetime value through: acquisition campaigns (upselling premium services through all digital marketing channels) and content marketing campaigns (announcing new content, promoting featured content, building brand awareness)
• Own end-to-end management of campaign execution, including: creative & copy development, campaign setup, budget/bid management, AB testing, reporting and on-going optimization
• Remain goal oriented and results driven to help allocate media budgets as efficiently as possible with maximum results
• Actively monitor all campaign analytics, partner with our business intelligence team to create ad-hoc and recurring reporting on campaign performance and communicate results effectively to the team with recommended actions for optimization
• Develop, optimize and effectively communicate current strategy and media mix across Crunchyroll and VRV; help identify the best ad formats, targeting strategies and goals for all media types
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing and/or Business
• 4+ years of experience in Paid Marketing, prefer experience in digital video/display advertising, mobile app install and/or social media paid advertising platforms
• Experience with:
◦ Ad networks/platforms (Google Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager)
◦ Mobile
◦ PMDs/bid management tools (Nanigans, Kenshoo, Marin)
◦ DSPs (DoubleClick, MediaMath, AppNexus)
◦ DMPs (BlueKai)
◦ Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Amplitude)
◦ Mobile App Analytics (Adjust, Branch, Kahuna)
• Strong analytical mind required, with the ability to digest quantitative metrics and translate into meaningful outcomes and strategic recommendations
• Strong creative mind required, with the ability to ideate new campaign creatives and collaborate closely with our internal design team
• Quick learner with ability to multitask and thrive in an unstructured environment
• An entrepreneurial spirit, driven and excited by challenges and complex problems
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, energetic, and optimistic with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships and influence change
