Responsibilities
Plan, create and manage the programming schedules of Universal Channel and Studio Universal networks under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Programming.
Lead and supervise the programming team, including two Coordinators and one Programming Assistant.
Help develop programming strategy and program schedule models for any feeds/channels that may be launched in the future.
Help develop program/audience research projects across all key dayparts and recommend schedule changes in strategies tailored to each region.
With the support of the Research team, analyze and report on competitive landscape in all general entertainment platforms as it relates to UNI networks' schedule.
Manage exhibitions for multiple UNI channels and create Buy Runs reports on a quarterly basis.
Supervise the creation of program schedules, EPGs, and TV listings package for use by other internal departments, clients and external promotion organizations.
Ensure the content compliance with government regulations and other applicable restrictions in territories covered by NBCUniversal LatAm.
Screen and review content in order to report potential acquisitions to the SVP of Programming.
Serve as liaison with other areas, such as Marketing, and Operations, regarding all program planning matters.
Collaborate with On-Air and Online departments to ensure all channels' promotions are conveying correct message and within given time frame/frequency.
Collaborate with Ad Sales department in order to come up with programming package incentives for potential and current clients, as well as overseeing that these sponsored blocks are scheduled per client agreements.
Work closely with Brazilian counterparts in order to coordinate and provide programming schedules tailored to the region, which include BZL only titles and local content.
Communicate with each channel's play-out facilities on a weekly basis, overseeing that all material is being delivered in a timely manner. Also communicate with our distributors for emergency cases in which delivery material has not already been delivered.
Coordinate and implement ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
3+ years of Manager experience in multi-channel television industry, including previous experience in programming, scheduling and broadcast operations
Must be fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Ability to interpret audience and competitive analysis data and react impactful with scheduling strategies and other platforms;
People management experience; can lead and develop a team
Must be a team player who is able to work in an open and collaborative environment
Ability to work with confidential material
Able to multitask and prioritize high volume of work as well as problem solving under stressful situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
