The Software Engineer, DevOps will be responsible for automating all software engineering processes. Successful execution of this role will combine fluency in CI/CD frameworks and tools, attention to detail, analytical skills, understanding of software development processes and passion for automation.

The Software Engineer, DevOps will be responsible for automating all software engineering processes. Successful execution of this role will combine fluency in CI/CD frameworks and tools, attention to detail, analytical skills, understanding of software development processes and passion for automation.
Responsibilities:
• Design and script Ci/CD automation frameworks which take software from development to production in a fully automated way
• Ensure problem-free deployments to production, without any interuptions to business processes
• Build monitoring solutions and ensure prompt alerting
• Lead incident and problem resolution activities to minimize impacts on availability and performance
• Contribute data to enterprise dashboards and ensure visibility of software development progress across the enterprise
• Provide automation thought leadership in scrum teams and optimize technical decisions to maximize scrum team velocity
• Keep abreast of industry standards and newest DevOps methodologies and tools
• Create a data-driven culture with high standards of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Experience (supported by adequate certificatioins) in two or more of the following technologies sets:
• Jenkins / Chef / Ansible
• Elasticsearch / Splunk
• AWS / Google Cloud
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Python / Ruby
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Ability to implement a fully automated CI/CD pipeline, from code checking to production deployment.
• Ability to troubleshoot production incidents in complex, multi-application environments
• Ability to leverage cloud environments, both Iaas and PaaS as well as open source tools
• Ability to establish a data-driven culture and a repeatable, structured and disciplined approach to the full systems lifecycle.
Experience:
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 3+ years experience delivering CI/CD automation solutions in an agile software organization.
• 3+ years using cloud IaaS or PaaS products.
• 5+ years coding and delivering high quality software as a software engineer.
