Responsibilities
Set comprehensive goals for business performance and growth, including those related to marketing
and content distribution strategies
Evaluate project portfolio performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Drive the successful execution of key strategic and cross‐functional projects within the organization
in a positive and constructive and collaborative manner while ensuring active communication with
all key stakeholders on progress, timeliness of deliverables, and other important activities
Oversee daily operations of the business, including production, and the work of production
leadership to ensure execution of planning is taking place
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision and lead employees to encourage
maximum performance and dedication
Partner with EIC, ILMxLAB and Director, Content & Platform Strategy, ILMxLAB in deal negotiations
with 3rd parties, liaising with Business Affairs and Legal, as required
Key contributor in driving international expansion activities
Cultivate and maintain productive relationships that benefit ILMxLAB with key internal and external
stakeholders such as ILMxLAB, ILM, Lucasfilm, Disney, vendors, consultants, and others
In partnership with ILMxLAB/ADG finance team members, ILM’s Technology Producer, ILMxLAB
Producers, and Sr Manager, ILMxLAB Talent & Production own the financial planning, operational
budgets, and headcount growth plans for ILMxLAB
Partner with EIC, ILMxLAB to design and implement business strategies, plans, and operating
procedures for ILMxLAB and the Advanced Development Group’s (ADG) production team
Provides management oversite and career development for ADG and ILMxLAB Production teams,
and ILMxLAB’s Brand & Marketing Manager
Requirements
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
8‐10 years of related experience in the interactive/games industry with 4‐6 years of
management and/or producer experience required
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development, paired with the
ability to drive multiple strategic initiatives at the same time
Demonstrated understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, and
distribution
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Highly effective communication skills to build differentiated messaging and positioning, and
ability to interact with all levels within the organization
Excellent public speaking skills
Proven executive maturity and ability to influence leaders and peers without hierarchical
controls
Aptitude in decision‐making and problem‐solving
Demonstrated process improvement experience including documentation (process
flows/narratives), assessment, and implementation.
Demonstrated vendor management and negotiation experience with a working knowledge of
legal contracts and relevant terminology
Experience in evaluating a variety of software tools and ability to negotiate cost effective
contracts
Experience working in global cross functional teams, preferred
History of being self‐starter when dealing with ambiguity
