NBCUniversal International Distribution is responsible for the distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media to over 200 territories outside of the U.S. and Canada. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. International Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
Responsibilities
Overview
The VP, Commercial Finance will be responsible for FP&A activities related to new business scope, special projects and financial analytics outside of the standard Corporate Requirements and variance analyses. This VP role is a hands-on role and at the same time, must be able to make decisions and assessments in consideration of multiple high-level perspectives. The role will work with Finance, Sales, Strategy and Operational teams across the Company.
Responsibilities
New business integration (DWA, others)
1. Manage transition (planning, discovery process, data cleansing, data conversions, business process design)
2. Build short term and long-term TVD processes and financial reporting to support new business
3. Build and maintain budgets, forecasts and ultimates for the product, with a goal to integrate into existing business processes (to the extent possible)
4. Maintain ownership of the product owner relationships and product performance
Performance Analysis – conduct post mortem analyses of multi-territory and window deals, assessing actual performance against assumptions made during deal negotiation and valuation.
Special Projects and Ad hoc requests, especially those requiring cross-functional support and /or input to Business Development initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
15+ years of FP&A experience in the media & entertainment industry, preferably a major studio
Bachelors Degree, MBA a Plus

Desired Characteristics
Must have experience with business process design and analysis, system implementation, project management and integration management
Must have excellent communication, people management and leadership skills
Must have experience in creating and pitching presentations at senior executive levels
Must have a proven track record of working on projects from beginning to end
