Job Duties / Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Director, National Sales, the responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator will include:
• Working with clients/advertising agencies and radio stations on a day-to- day basis in a support role for a defined group of National Radio Sales professionals
• Responsible for contract entry, confirmation of accuracy before sending them to both stations and clients
• Compiling and providing specific radio station information as requested by clients
• Manage contract discrepancies and make goods
• Manage existing contracts to ensure all of the commitments are fulfilled
• General office support in team environment
• Intermittent assistance in the scheduling and planning of client events/parties/presentations
Qualifications:
• College/University education with background in Sales
• 2 + years of experience in a sales support role
• Previous experience in an Advertising Sales organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); exposure to sales databases/tools (i.e. AirWare, microBBM)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
Working Conditions:
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime as required
• Status: Regular - Full Time
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
