What you’ll do
• Develop people through coaching, mentoring, and management support
• Advocate and promote leadership at all levels within the Spotify engineering community
• Work closely with the recruitment team to hire and onboard QA engineers
• Advocate for software development best practices (CI, testing, UX, responsive design, etc.)
• Grow the technical expertise of your chapter within the Software Quality dimension
• Work closely with squads, product owners, agile coaches and stakeholders to ensure we deliver innovative products and campaigns to our users
• Collaborate with others managers in leading the Tribe.
• Work from our office in Stockholm and be willing to travel to other Spotify offices when needed
Who you are
• You love developing and growing people
• You are experienced with leading, coaching, and mentoring teams
• You understand how quality is a shared responsibility across all engineers, product owners and designers, and how QA-engineers help supporting this responsibility
• You have an understanding of scalable systems serving millions of users, and the development of them
• You are experienced with software development in an Agile environment
