We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Intern for 12 months to join our International API & Mobile - Product Management team, which is part of Ticketmaster UK. As Product Intern, in our team you will assist in building products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry best practices and your collaboration with our market representatives and clients.
In this role, you will be able to develop general understanding of live events market, the competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels and Ticketmaster’s mobile and web service product offerings.
You will be mentored by seasoned Product Managers and can expect to gain on the job experience in many aspects of Product Management. You will be expected to have an appetite to focus on our users, markets and internal customers to understand their problems and find innovative solutions to deliver on our mobile app and web service platforms.
International API & Mobile Product Management Team:
The International API & Mobile product team which is part of wider eCommerce team at Ticketmaster drives the consumer experience via our mobile apps (IOS and Android) and APIs across 13+ international markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Canada. We are truly responsible for providing innovative experience via our apps and webservices and the team focuses on helping fans discover and buy the music, sports or theatre tickets they just can’t miss out on.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Graduate or pursuing postgraduate degree. Business or engineering major is preferred.
• Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Comfort with technical and business concepts through coursework or prior experience.
◦ Some web development experience, for work, study or personal interest is a plus.
• Ability to quantify business benefits based on measurable outcomes.
• Product research and discovery skills.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
We are currently recruiting for a number of roles across our product team and each role focuses on a different area of Product Management. This is a full time (Monday - Friday 10am-6pm) paid internship that will be recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in September 2017.
