Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a temporary Digital Marketing Coordinator position for console, PC, and online brands. Specifically, we are looking for a consumer-oriented person who is interested in the online marketing of video games. This individual will report to a Senior Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of our online marketing strategies on one of our AAA brands and may be asked to support other digital titles.
Responsibilities:
• Support development of social content and style guides for assigned titles, across social platforms, websites, stand-alone destinations, and Ubi.com; manage content calendar
• Partner with cross functional teams to optimize tactics/programs as outlined by digital marketing team; heavily support coordination of executional details
• Support in development and executional plan to launch new social or owned channels
• Serve as a key partner to agencies and internal production, including sending assets, providing consolidated feedback, routing creative to internal team for approval, etc.
• Support campaign coordination and information sharing with EMEA digital marketing team
• Identify proper benchmarks and goals for each tactic; monitor progress and contribute optimization recommendations to apply learnings as we go
• Support Ubisoft CommDev team in moderation of select social posts
• Post content and trailers as needed
• Support content analytics and performance, including engagement
• Make recommendations to align DM driven original content with overall PR calendar
• Manage social channels (content curation)
• Support development and execution of influencer programs
• Identify digital marketing trends, competitive research, best practices and key opportunities for innovation
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience working in the field of consumer marketing, digital marketing or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong interest and basic knowledge of digital & social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, research & analytics
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions orientated
• Active participant in digital and social media channels
• Passion for internet and gaming culture a big plus
• Entertainment or video game industry experience a plus
