Condé Nast is seeking a exceptional sales professional to join the team at Architectural Digest as an Account Manager (Director) in a full-time staff position. The Account Manager will report directly to the Associate Publisher and Advertising Director to drive revenue across all brand platforms.
We are a passionate, collaborative team looking for a strategic, energetic, and aggressive seller who is goal oriented and adept at selling a luxury brand across mediums. It is a dream job for someone who loves luxury living, design and architecture.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Sales and management of advertising in core endemic Home Furnishing’s category for accounts and businesses based in NY Metro/Tri State area
• Sales and management of all accounts based in New England and Boston territory
• Cross platform selling of print, digital, video, mobile and social
• Act as AD ambassador at key industry & trade events and through proactive client entertaining
• Manage and nurture important existing client relationships and develop new clients and partners
• Manage all aspects of the sales communication and negotiation process.
Requirements:
Ideal candidate is a competitive, resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and flourishes under tremendous volume. Must have a proven track record for consistently exceeding sales goals and managing complex and demanding client relationships. Must also be proficient at sales forecasting, reporting and targeting.
Candidate should like having a great deal of autonomy but can also work closely with management and other departments.
Ideal requirements:
• Print media sales experience
• Digital and web based sales experience + IAB Certification
• Creative, compelling and persuasive presentation and negotiation skills
• Strategic, consultative selling technique with ability to navigate large and complex deals
• Strong creative thinking and interpersonal/communications skills
• Bachelors Degree
