Job Summary:
Responsible for selling SmartOffice products and services offered by Comcast Business and providing superior technical support & service to our small and medium business customers purchasing these products. The primary responsibility of the SmartOffice Cloud Desk Agent (CDA) is to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities and incremental revenue by systematic upselling and cross-selling our portfolio of products. The CDA drives opportunity qualifications, manages the opportunities in the pipeline and closes deals independently and remotely via the phone.
Core Responsibilities:
-Drive volume business sales: Sells Cloud-based Surveillance (SmartOffice) services and products via telesales with ability to meet and exceed stated sales quota.
-Create, build, and nurture customer relationships for assigned accounts.
-Provide product demonstrations via web sessions.
-Provide forecast for assigned deals and ensure forecast and pipeline accuracy.
-Generate volume business pipeline: Execute effective prospecting efforts to maximize coverage of defined accounts.
-Drive proactive outbound call activity into net new contacts.
-Support growth of Comcast Business by introducing customer to new products, higher tiers of service, etc. on all eligible calls.
-Provide prompt resolution to customers via telephone and/or e-mail to assist with a variety of customer inquiries and issues.
-Leverage a variety of software applications to manage customer account information and diagnose and resolve technical difficulties.
-Communicate effectively with customers in a professional manner while setting accurate expectations newly purchased product delivery and, adoption training and for issue resolution.
-Recognize and diffuse difficult customer situations utilizing all resources, interpersonal and negotiating skills to come to resolution.
-Ability to articulate the Comcast Cloud Business Solutions value proposition clearly in an industry context and to listen actively to customers to identify prioritized customer needs.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
Job Requirements:
-Proven sales ability and a strong drive for results.
-Solid problem-solving skills and an aptitude to learn and adapt quickly.
-Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
-Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience required.
-Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to customers.
-Good IT knowledge. Experience selling surveillance, security, or other technical products a plus.
Job Specifications:
-Must have a High School Degree or Equivalent
-Generally requires 2 or more years related telesales experience.
