Role Summary:
This is a strategic Talent Development and Inclusion role for Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. The position is responsible for organically advancing the organization’s global talent development with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity within the creative and workforce talent pools in accordance with the company’s business priorities. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President, Global Talent Development & Inclusion, the candidate will build upon existing programs while championing new global inclusion initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide strategic insight to on all areas of Inclusion
Lead strategic planning and execution of initiatives and programs, guiding long term growth and development plans in the areas Inclusion.
Conduct on-going research on best practices and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Identify and recommend metrics and statistics with best in class results for comparable companies.
Partner with management to prioritize on initiatives, programs and events that can lead to the desired outcomes.
Measure and communicate outcomes of key initiatives.
Identify, develop and maintain strategic Inclusion partnerships with key talent and executives within the company, industry and community.
Serve as an internal and external spokesperson for inclusion as related to the creative and executive talent pools.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years corporate diversity and inclusion experience, preferably within the entertainment industry preferred.
BA/BS degree required
Experience with global / multicultural diversity, cultural competencies, laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
Have multi-cultural and gender sensitivity in all areas of Inclusion.
In depth knowledge of diversity best practices, concepts and programs
Strong analytical skills, and comfort working with numerical data or performing data analysis and reporting
Ability to travel as required

Possess relationships with diverse and female working writers and directors, and have the ability to quickly build strong new relationships.
Have experience in recruiting both creative and workforce talent.
