Responsibilities
Seeso is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to manage the development of consumer marketing campaigns for Seeso programming, from strategy through creative execution. The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Content & Brand Marketing.
Responsibilities
Develop campaigns that build awareness of and affinity for Seeso Originals/tentpoles
Write campaign briefs, identifying target audience, positioning and marketing strategy
Work with internal media team to develop media strategy, establish campaign KPIs, and determine creative needs
Manage creative development (e.g. key art, trailer, banners, rich media, OOH) for single titles, working with external creative agencies and freelance designers
Develop compelling creative optimized for each channel (online video, pre-roll, banners, etc), exploring new formats and best practices on an ongoing basis
Partner with Social Marketing Manager to develop social extensions of campaign, organizing joint creative shoots and coordination with talent
Socialize campaign strategy and solicit feedback from internal teams, including programming, product, operations and senior staff. Ensure needs of all teams are met
Act as primary Marketing contact for external studio partners and talent, organizing bi-weekly meetings to ensure buy-in and alignment on all plans
Create Marketing overview decks for internal and external sharing
Ensure all activities are within budget
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree and 5+ years working in content marketing
Agency/creative vendor management experience a must
Keen understanding of digital media, and how to optimize creative for digital formats
Proven track record of successful content marketing campaigns
Strong written and verbal skills
Proven experience working with external partners/managing relationships with talent
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a thirst to drive innovation
Passion for comedy (experience working in comedy a plus)
Tremendous attention to detail, a copy editor’s eye is a must
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, proficiency with Motion graphics design and video editing skills a plus
Studio experience strongly desired (internal or agency-side working with studios)
