Assistant, International Print Services (Maternity Cover)

International Print Services (IPS) is a department within Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI) and is responsible for all aspects of international theatrical servicing, which includes the manufacture of digital feature and trailer content.
The London based team currently has a 12 month maternity cover opportunity for an Assistant to join their team and provide support and assistance to all department activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Trailer servicing – under the direct supervision of the Directors and the Co-Ordinator:-
• Checking company system, Interplan, for orders submitted by territories
• Ensuring that orders are submitted accurately onto Interplan
• Assisting in processing the orders received from the territories to ensure that the relevant information is noted on Interplan and supplied to relevant personnel within the department
• Placing orders with the laboratory, ensuring that requested delivery deadlines would be met
• Raising all purchase orders on SAP
• Keeping territories duly informed of progress on orders
• Following through delivery from the lab and shipment to the territories
• Updating Interplan at each stage of the process to ensure accurate record keeping
Administrative backup to the team: -
• Typing / sending correspondence via e-mail to suppliers and territories
• Raising purchase orders on SAP ordering system and sending to relevant suppliers
• Updating Interplan with order information.
• Updating internal systems; WPTS and Spiritworld
• Liaising with suppliers / territories as requested concerning order delivery
• General office duties to include data inputting
• Ensuring all relevant documents are duly saved on the shared directory for use by the department.
Qualifications and/or Experience Required:
• Ideal candidates will typically have previous administrative experience in a TV/Film based role within a similar department
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook is essential
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferable but not essential
• Must be able to work as part of team, but also able to work on own once direction has been given.
• Must be highly organized and able to work in a timely and accurate manner
• Must be able to work well in a faced paced and busy department
