A strong, versatile designer / writer, fluent in Social Media, Public Relations and SEO. Responsible to edit and manage creation of advertorial content across multiple platforms by participating with an advertising team (employees and freelance) in the content creation and publishing process, collaborating with internal partners (e.g., Advertising and Marketing), and independently handling a high volume of custom publishing projects.
Responsibilities:
• Design content marketing strategies around KPIs and set short-term goals, working with sales reps, marketing leadership and advertisers
• Develop editorial calendar for projects and ensure deadlines are met
• Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
• Create and/or edit engaging, brand content including, search engine optimized website copy and articles, blog posts, social media posts, ad mail or newsletter copy, case studies and flyer, spec materials and presentations, video scripts and more versatile in an array of writing styles/voices
• Post content on our social media channels, web site and other potential channels
• Assist in creation of sales collateral and high end marketing and sales presentations
• Manage vendors/creative resources to produce video, marketing collateral, etc.
• Analyze web traffic metrics
• Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement (May want them to create a digital marketing blog and blog on our behalf to help our services get noticed, down the road)
• Responsible for compiling, researching and editing editorial/advertorial content for special advertising supplements
• Managing projects from early development, such as content themes and objectives, to prepress (print) and the web.
Continuously updates knowledge of publishing and advertising trends in various categories including automotive, travel, health and entertainment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field required
• 3 -5 years Public Relations, Social Media, Content Marketing experience
• Must have strong knowledge and experience in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content
• Skilled and knowledgeable of SEO best practices in content generation, design and copywriting
• Knowledge of email and social media channels Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn. Must be familiar with each social media outlet, how to update and navigate each
• Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
• Strong presentation skills
• Must be self-directed and motivated and also have the ability to work well within a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Proficiency in Prezi, Slide Rocket, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Proven ability to translate brand/business strategy to engaging content experiences
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Flexibility required due to rapidly changing environment and department needs.
