TEN: The Enthusiast Network is seeking a full-time Producer, Marketing & Promotionsfor the El Segundo, CA office.

Position Description
The Producer, Marketing & Promotions (full-time, salaried, regular) is a lead role in executing all the Marketing Department video promotions and commercial needs according to project budgets and goals as well as job-specific deliverables. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Develop, shoot, schedule, and process each promotional or commercial program and monitor/maintain/drive the successful execution of all production deadlines.
• Responsible for staying within designated production budgets at all times, unless written approval is given.
• Create general production approach in pre-production to present.
• Recommend Talent/Director/Production staff for production.
• Enforce production guidelines, schedules and budgets for production staff to follow throughout production life.
• Acts as the day-to-day contact with Marketing Department, TEN Studio staff, other TEN departments, etc. throughout the production lifecycle.
• Provide weekly updates regarding projects staying on schedule and budget and immediate updates if that calendar or budget is jeopardized.
• Work directly with internal crew members and clients to ensure all creative and technical deliverables are being met and running smoothly, through Pre-Production, Production, and Post Production.
• Conduct meetings with necessary production staff to discuss production progress and objectives, and update internal and external staff on the progress of current production objectives.
• Coordinate with off-site third party vendors when applicable as per project needs.
• Monitor post-production processes in order to ensure accurate completion of project deliverables unless project is handed off to designated post-production producer. In case of hand off, still involved in monitoring work in post-production to identify and address potential client concerns.
• Provides project costing, actualization reports and running updated production schedules weekly, or as often as requested.
Supervisory Responsibility:
• This position may include supervising one or more employees where applicable; such as a coordinator, editor, or other post-production staff in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
Education/Experience:
• Preferred 3+ years previous experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to lead large and/or cross-functional groups of people as needed per production.
• Vast understanding of budgeting, knowledgeable of industry standards (Excel, AICP, AICE, MovieMagic).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills/scheduling.
• Excels when working under high pressure situations.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Experience with project management software (Studio Suite, Shotgun) a plus.
• Expert in digital video best practices, social video best practices, finishing requirements for platform by platform needs (e.g.: how does SnapChat differ from YouTube) to maximize views and engagement, including key frame selection.
• Solid understanding of how to finish for broadcast.
• Familiar with effective promotional best practices for TV or Movie trailers, YouTube original programming, SVOD, etc.
Physical Requirements:
• The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view a computer screen
Equipment/Software Used:
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work Environment:
• Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
