Responsibilities
• Work with leadership and BI to establish relevant KPIs across channels to drive profitable growth across all properties.
• Develop channel specific as well as cross channel marketing plans that help achieve set business goals across each of the Fandango properties. Ensure all plans are measureable, have robust test strategies against them and align with brand, acquisition and customer relationship management goals.
• Work across internal and external partners to design cross channel and re-targeting strategies that help us maximize our growth across the digital ecosystem – leveraging our collective spend and audience reach.
• Introduce programmatic marketing and proficient retargeting strategies to help us develop high value and unique audience growth opportunities.
• Co-lead the development and optimization of a DMP strategy for marketing.
• Bring the disciplines of programmatic, RTB & retargeting into Fandango. Advise and help set up the best operating model and approach across internal and external resource sets.
• Act as a digital marketing thought leader within the business, but also across our studio and exhibitor partners, to inform digital media strategies, audience reach and optimization plans across the industry.
• Bridge strong relationship for us with core digital properties across search, social and display. Ensure we are preferred beta test partners and have enough interaction and thought leadership support from them.
• Partner with leadership to develop out a cross channel attribution model and help build new foundations on evaluating digital marketing spend and channel impact. Evolve this to inform the attribution across offline and online channels.
• Inform and influence offers, promotions and conversion journeys required to drive conversion optimization.
• Expand with efficiency into new digital channels and formats, such as mobile, video and paid social.
• Be a thought leader around ‘growth hacking’ opportunities and digital models that serve our desire for scalable and cost effective growth.
• Ensure robust operations are in place for channel execution, tracking management, and promotional calendar management against team goals.
• Accountable for daily monitoring, optimization and ROI across all channels and test campaigns. Building robust channel report and analysis to inform the team’s planning as well as broader business strategy.
• Facilitate billing, forecasting and budget management across all channels and partners
• Lead and develop a team of highly motivated digital marketers and channel experts.
• All other duties as defined by the VP of Acquisition Marketing
Qualifications/Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in digital marketing positions, with increasing responsibility
• Previous experience in digital marketing within a fast paced consumer business is a must. Experience within an Ecommerce business preferred.
• Experience leveraging a DMP to grow overall market share and marketing cost efficiencies across the digital landscape.
• Experience in driving success through programmatic marketing a must.
• Proven experience setting channel KPIs that help elevate the role of each media partner while keeping overall ROI optimized. Must have previous experience in successfully influencing the justification of channel expansion and KPI evolution in support of broader business goals.
• Mastery of core digital channels such as PPC, RTB, display, affiliates and paid social desired.
• Ability to balance a highly analytical, metrics focused approach with the strong creative mind needed to develop breakthrough campaigns.
• Deeply analytical and data driven; Candidate should be proficient with CPA, LTV, attribution models, and cohort analysis. Experience with Omniture and Google Analytics is desired.
• Proven ability to lead robust testing strategies across multiple KPIs and campaigns.
• Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Bias toward action and strong sense of urgency without compromising executional excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster teamwork, build confidence and support for one's ideas
• Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to communicate both upwardly and cross functionally
• Ability to work in a complex culture, serving disparate needs
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs

Desired Characteristics
Fandango is looking for a bright, passionate Director of Digital Marketing who is analytical, data driven, and has a can-do approach to problem solving. This position will report to the VP of Acquisition and CRM Marketing, and play a key role in helping the business leverage the digital media landscape to drive scalable and cost effective growth for our portfolio of brands including Fandango, FandangoNow and Rotten Tomatoes.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the digital ecosystem and a passion for the interconnectivity of data and performance optimization within this realm. They would be coming to this role with a proven track record in growing reach and maximizing both new prospect acquisitions and existing customer retention and revenue for an aggressive consumer business. We are looking for a multi-channel marketer, who has hands on experience in building media plans, campaign test strategies and building robust retargeting for sizeable consumer brands in the ecommerce space.
Not only will this leader need to be comfortable getting deep into the execution, analysis and the design of all campaigns with their team, but will also need to have the senior gravitas and critical thinking skills to support leadership planning and influence broader business groups to support with unlocking the full potential of digital channels and audiences.
