Responsibilities
Here is what you’ll do in this role
The Senior Financial Analyst for East Coast TV Production is an integral part of the OT&S finance and operations teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing the day to day financial activities for a ~$160MM OCF business and $50MM Capex budget, including regular financial reporting/planning/analysis, headcount and payroll management, ad hoc financial modeling, and exposure to capital projects. This critical role, reporting to the ECTV Production Finance Manager, provides the unique opportunity to obtain an in-depth view/understanding of the Studio Operations and Production Engineering team as well as NBCU News and Late Night Entertainment.
In addition, this role has significant exposure to multiple operations/finance leaders as we work with most NBCU businesses.
Job Duties:
Engage in the quarterly and annual closing process including preparing journal entries, client allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, and communicating risks and opportunities to FP&A team and clients.
Responsible for the preparation of all budgets and long range plans (LRP, Budget, quarterly estimate) and related analysis for the OPEX, CAPEX, and Balance Sheet, including presentation preparation.
Prepare monthly / quarterly presentations for senior executives and leaders.
Manage and maintain pacing / reporting to our FP&A team.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis for strategic projects and project cash flow.
Partner with other NBCU business finance teams in tracking expenses and cost allocations.
Analyze and organize data appropriately by anticipating the internal clients expectations
Participate in regular reviews with operators to analyze labor spend and discuss budget variances.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance and/or production finance experience
